Happy 66th Birthday to former Mets shortstop, Tim Foli. Foli had a solid career with both the Mets and several other teams notably the Pirates and the Expos. He played as a rookie with the Mets in 1970 and then after 1971 season, he was part of the three player deal to the Expos for Rusty Staub. He came back and played for the Mets in the 1978-79 season
"A guy who's so hyper, he brings his bat back to the hotel room."
--Ed Kranepool, on Tim Foli, early in his career
